Jamie Oliver is coming to town, opening Fifteen Cornwall on Watergate Bay in May 2006, you can take the beautiful coast road to Padstow for the Rick Stein experience or better still walk into town and try out Kahuna on Tolcarne Beach, Chy Bar overlooking Towan Beach, the Lotus Thai restaurant, any one of the bars which serve food including Buzios or book ahead and eat at the Lewinnick Lodge with amazing Atlantic views

Newquay is ideally situated for an easy day out to many other villages, towns and attractions in Cornwall including: St Ives visit Tate St Ives or just meander through the pretty cobbled streets and narrow alleys visiting small galleries and artists workshops; Newlyn & Penzance visit Newlyn Art Gallery or Penlee House, see the working harbour and fish market), Truro - our Cathedral City (visit the Cathedral or Royal Cornwall Museums), famous Falmouth (visit National Maritime Museum where Ellen Macarthur completed her round the world trip, Falmouth Art Gallery; the Eden Project (but don’t go on a rainy day it’ll be packed!) and Eden’s predecessor The Lost Gardens of Heligan, or take a day trip on the British International helicopter or Skybus to the tranquil Isles of Scilly

With nearly 300 miles of coastal footpath (part of the 630 mile long South West Coast Path, the longest of Britain's 15 National Trails), Cornwall is a great place for walkers. Take it easy and have a gentle stroll or get serious with a long walk. The majority of our properties are on or very close to the Pentire Peninsula which offers a delightful walk around the peninsula taking in spectacular views of Crantock Beach, Goose Rock, West Pentire, Fistral Bay and Trevose Lighthouse.
